Narrated By Abdullah ibn Hawalah al-Azdi : The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) sent us on foot to get spoil, but we returned without getting any. When he saw the signs of distress on our faces, he stood up on our faces and said: O Allah, do not put them under my care, for I would be too weak to care for them; do not put them in care of themselves, for they would be incapable of that, and do not put them in the care of men, for they would choose the best things for themselves. He then placed his hand on my head and said: Ibn Hawalah, when you see the caliphate has settled in the holy land, earthquakes, sorrows and serious matters will have drawn near and on that day the Last Hour will be nearer to mankind than this hand of mine is to your head.

Narated By Abu Said Al-Khudri : Somebody asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Who is the best among the people?" Allah's Apostle replied "A believer who strives his utmost in Allah's Cause with his life and property." They asked, "Who is next?" He replied, "A believer who stays in one of the mountain paths worshipping Allah and leaving the people secure from his mischief."

4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.

Narated By Abu Musa : The Prophet said, "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophets and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)"

Narated By Muawiya : I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established."
Many people come to Islam as the last region of study in their search for the Truth. This is mainly due to the misleading and the wrong accusation forced on Islam by the media.
One interesting statement I have heard from few of the reverts , from their video interviews, is that they were able to understand Christianity more from Islam. I think its because many missing information about Christianity can be gained from Qura'an.

This looks like a documentary on Yusuf Islam whose earlier name was Cat Stevens. It tells the incident which led him in search of the true religion. How he led his earlier life , life after he became a muslim . And the controversies he had to face based on his view on Salman Rushdie's publication "Satanic Verses". Its a very nice documentary , must see it.

This is a very good video of Sheikh Yasin about remembering death. An important message is that one should not procrastinate when it comes to learning about finding the true path.
In this story of a mother of a daughter , there is a lesson for us all. Especially those who lead there life in complete heedlessness when it comes to performing Islamic duties. At the last this lady tells how fortunate those who were born muslims are. Muslim youth nowadays are mostly wasting their time and energy in entertainment all the time. We need to reflect at our own life before its too late.

Islam is not about arabic name or taking a member ship in it. Its about practicing and living according to what Allah (s a w) and Prophet Mohammed (s a s) has taught us. That will alone do us any good. Just by seeing some muslim's life , one should not jump into conclusion that Islam is this or that, or it is allowed for a muslim. The essence of Islam is the Qura'an and the Sunnah , by clarifying with these only an act can justified as Islamic or not. Whether it comes to terrorists or pop-singers the rules are applicable to all , they follow or not its between them and Allah (s a w).

We find many of the mainstream muslims are heedless in practicing and learning Islam. Many ignore it as outdated and impracticable. They should look at the reverting people to understand , how fortunate they were to be born as muslims.
